ONCF Launches “YALLA” Campaign: Affordable Travel to Multiple Destinations for 49 Dhs.
Following significant improvements to the Al Atlas trains, which serve the Marrakech-Casablanca-Fès route and have recently been extended to Tanger and the Oriental regions, ONCF encourages customers to book their tickets as early as possible on (http://www.oncf-voyages.ma) or directly at station ticket counters.
ONMT and ONCF Team Up to Boost Domestic Tourism with “Yalla Morocco”
This summer, the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and ONCF are joining forces to boost domestic tourism across the kingdom. This strategic collaboration aims to encourage mobility between regions while offering substantial benefits to local travelers.
ONCF plans to market no less than 350,000 tickets at attractive prices for the 2024 summer season. Travelers can enjoy fares starting at 89 Dhs for Al Boraq high-speed lines and from 49 Dhs for Atlas trains, making travel accessible to a broad audience. This initiative aims to make rail transport not only affordable but also appealing for those wishing to explore Morocco’s wonders.
To support this initiative, an ambitious multi-media communication campaign has been launched. Using mainly digital channels and social media, ONMT collaborates with four renowned celebrities and influencers: Samia Akariou, Oussama Ramzi, Rachid Goudi, and Zineb Obeid. This strategy aims to reach a wide audience, particularly young people and social media users, to promote ONCF’s attractive offers and encourage travel across the country.
In addition to these initiatives, ONCF and ONMT have introduced the “Yalla Morocco” card. This card offers a 30% discount on all journeys with Atlas and Al Boraq trains, further facilitating access to Moroccan tourist destinations. This initiative aims to make travel more economical and encourage greater exploration of Morocco’s cultural and natural heritage.
This operation is part of a partnership established in 2021 between ONCF and ONMT. This strategic partnership aims to meet the growing needs of local tourists while capitalizing on ONCF’s extensive rail network. By promoting travel for Moroccan travelers to various tourist destinations, this collaboration helps boost the local economy and promote internal tourism. With a clear vision of putting trains at the service of internal tourism, ONMT and ONCF aim to make travel accessible, attractive, and enriching for all Moroccans. Thanks to these competitive fares, effective communication, and innovative initiatives such as the “Yalla Morocco” card, this collaboration promises to significantly stimulate the domestic tourism sector in Morocco for the summer of 2024 and beyond.
